Taking photos? Forever. Being the likely bane of some poor photographer's existence with my amateur camera at a wedding? Circa 2001-2011. After much further investment into education, equipment and growth, I officially hung out my own shingle as Little Lakes Photography in 2017.

It's up to you! For sessions that I extensively hand-edit (newborns, seniors, headshots), you'll have the choice of how many final images you'd like to end up with, with upgrades/add-ons almost always available. For regular sessions (family, children, maternity) I typically deliver around 30 final images. For mini sessions, I typically promise around 8 final images, but more often than not deliver many more!

All of my sessions are delivered as digital online galleries with a print release. You'll receive a link to your password-protected gallery, from which you can download your files as well as share the gallery with others who can do the same. You're welcome to take advantage of ordering professional grade prints and other heirloom-quality products right from your online gallery; or, take the print release statement to print anywhere else!

Again, this really depends on the type of session - but my typical turnaround time is about 2 weeks. During busy season (September through December), it might be longer. If you need something faster, I do have rush options available!

Yes! Given that my home base is smack in the middle of 6,000 acres of state forest, I'm quite used to getting pretty much anywhere being a trip of some kind! I shoot all over the greater Rochester and Western Finger Lakes area, and beyond. I do have a modest travel fee for anything above an hour's drive, but waive that if I'm able to schedule more than one session for the trip!

Yes! While some session types are more editing-intensive than others, I professionally retouch all of my final images using the best tools available in the industry. Regardless of session type, I hand edit every image for blemishes and fixes before universally lighting and toning for a cohesive presentation. If you need something retouched that didn't result from a session with me, make sure you have the photographer's permission to edit and I'll be happy to help you out!

Absolutely. From finding the perfect location, day and time, to what you'll wear - I'm here to help!

If you're here for newborn, maternity, or an extended family or Finger Lakes vacation session with specific dates - please contact me as soon as possible. I can only take a certain number of newborn and maternity sessions each month, and they go fast! Reach out with your due date so we can get your name in the calendar - we'll figure out the details as it gets closer!

For other sessions that are in a time window (e.g., milestone sessions, cake smashes, seniors) - I also recommend reaching out at least 4-6 weeks in advance. This gives us enough time to get you in the calendar in the appropriate timeframe, plan your session, and get your images back if you're working with a deadline.

Everything else - I'm pretty flexible but I do get busy! I'd be in touch at least 4 weeks ahead of when you'd like to ideally have your session so we can get started with planning!

Trust me when I say, as a mom of 3 - planning outfits for a session is probably the HARDEST part of the whole thing! I'm here to help relieve that pressure and make sure you're feeling confident and fabulous the day of your photos.
